If the commentator's audio quality is poor, the following general steps may help resolve the issue. Please also have a look at this article regarding steps to fix specific audio issues such as echo or popping.
- Make sure that the issue is not with the connection of the commentator - check the article here and look at the commentator metrics to determine if they are healthy.
- Adjust their levels in the Studio or Dashboard mixer .
- Ask them to unplug their mic and then plug it back in.

Make sure the correct microphone is selected in Spalk. Follow the steps below to check:

Click on the headphone icon
under the “Commentators” tab in your event.

Click on the Settings
icon on the right.
- Click on the white box next to the settings icon and select the commentator’s name from the dropdown list.
- Under “Select Audio Input” please ensure the correct microphone that the commentator is using is selected. You can also check the “Using Headphones” option to ensure better audio quality for external mics.

Click on the headphone icon
