A Spalk output represents the process of sending the live feed, mixed with commentary to somewhere downstream of Spalk. The destination could be an OTT platform to your viewers, a broadcast decoder for baseband transmission, your social channels or another cloud based production service (eg Highlights, clipping etc).
Tip: In order to make your live broadcast as stress-free as possible we recommend scheduling your outputs before the broadcast. This means you can ensure it will start with the correct details, URL and settings at the scheduled time and don't have to worry about managing multiple stream-keys and settings while live. To learn how to schedule outputs, click here.
- From the Dashboard select the Outputs tab.
- Here you can find an empty text field on the right side where you can add your stream key.
- (Optional) To configure advanced settings, such as transcoding options click the arrow to the right of the Go Live Button. If you make no changes, you will receive the feed in the same quality as you are sending to us.
- Remember to click Save after setting your advanced settings once you have confirmed them.
- Click Go Live.
